What We Believe

The Trinity is the one, true God revealing Himself through the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit—the eternally, self-existent “I Am”, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.

The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man. They are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.

Baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized as a public declaration of their faith, declaring they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

The Lord’s Supper (Matthew 26:26), as it is observed in the church in accordance with the instruction in 1 Corinthians 11:23, is a memorial celebration to remind believers of Christ’s redemptive sacrifice of His body and blood.

Divine Healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. Medical professionals are also gifts from God to enhance our well-being.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father and should be expected and actively sought by all believers, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowing of extraordinary spiritual gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.

The Church is the Body of Christ, the dwelling place of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Church regardless of denominational affiliation.
